Features

Hardware: This serial interface module provides eight serial ports. Each port can be independently configured for RS–232/422/485. This high performance module supports baud rates to 921.6 Kbaud with a 64-byte FIFO buffer. Termination and bias resistors jumperable for each channel. Interrupts can be set separately for each channel.

• 16C780 octal UART, provides 64–byte transmit/receive Tx/Rx FIFOs

• 5V ± 5% at 400 mA typical, 800 mA max.
• Jumper selectable terminations for input and output, by channel
