Backplane Systems Technology is pleased to present VECOW’s EAC-4000. The VECOW EAC-4000 is an advanced Arm-based Edge AI computing system powered by the NVIDIA® Jetson Orin™ NX/Nano platform. Designed for high-performance AI applications, this compact system features a 1024-core NVIDIA Ampere™ architecture GPU with 32 Tensor cores and an 8-core Arm® Cortex®-A78AE CPU. This configuration allows the EAC-4000 to deliver up to 100 TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second) of AI performance, making it a powerful solution for demanding edge AI tasks.
Equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 128GB NVMe SSD, the EAC-4000 ensures efficient data processing and storage capabilities. Its robust connectivity options include 1 GigE LAN port, 4 USB 3.1 ports, and 1 HDMI 2.0 port, catering to various peripheral and display requirements. Additionally, the system features 2 COM RS-232/422/485 ports and a full-size Mini PCIe slot with SIM support for 4G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The EAC-4000 is optimized for space-constrained environments, making it ideal for applications such as traffic vision, automated optical inspection (AOI), and delivery robots. Optional Allxon Out-of-Band (OOB) support further enhances its reliability and manageability in remote deployments, solidifying its position as a versatile and powerful edge AI solution.
