The global spot market for critical components — particularly RAM and SSDs — is experiencing significant volatility, with further instability anticipated. Over the past six months, supplier pricing on certain RAM and SSD products has increased by up to fivefold in some cases, often with limited notice from manufacturers.

As a result, quotation validity periods across the industry have reduced considerably.

How to Protect Your Pricing & Lead-Times

To minimise exposure to further increases and supply constraints, we recommend:

• Engaging with our team early regarding upcoming projects or repeat requirements
• Providing a 6–12 month forecast where possible
• Placing scheduled or forward orders with agreed delivery dates
