Backplane Systems Technology is proud to present iBase’s MPT-1000R. This product is a part of the new range of railway computing systems integrated with the Intel® Atom™ quad-core E3950 processor (formerly Apollo Lake) which offers up to 1.5x CPU and 3x graphics performance over the previous generation Atom™ E3845 CPU. The MPT-1000R has a unique one-click recovery of peripheral expansion card and automatic voltage protection functions and supports robust M12 waterproof connectors that ensure fault-free data transmission in rail vehicle monitoring and railway trackside control applications.
The MPT-1000R is designed to meet railway compliance regulations and a rolling stock environment, thus having an EN50155 certification. Also, the MPT-100R features enhanced power efficiency, rich I/O connectivity, and industrial-grade reliability that enables 24/7 operation in extended temperatures and empowers real-time mission-critical applications.
Likewise, the MPT-1000R excels in power, for example, 12V~32V DC input with backup battery, ignition detection, and reverse protection. Furthermore, there is a 1 x 2.5” device bay for SSD/HDD and a 1 x mSATA via miniPCI-E slot for storage. In regards to mounting options, the MPT-1000R facilitates side mounting and rack mounting with optional bracketing. Furthermore, in terms of operating conditions, the MPT-1000R can endure harsh environments, with the operating temperatures varying from -40°C~ +70°C.
