The RBOX-1000-M12X can support rolling stock application, public transport surveillance, and facial identification with its optimised performance, innovative features, and particular design. With an Intel® Gen6 Core i7-6600U CPU, the device also features 6x isolated 110VDC input GbE and optional PoE for in-vehicle computer and railway applications. It has been engineered to feature dual hot-swappable SATA storage RAID 0,1,5, with EN50155 Tx for temperature and class S2 for interruption.
Its other features include 2x SO-DIMM DDR4 with up to 32GB memory, 6x Intel I210AT LAN chipsets, and watchdog timer support offering 1 – 255 steps. The well-designed I/O system provides 2x USB 2.0 ports, 6x 10/100/1000 Mb/s with M12 X-code LAN ports (optional PoE total 100W max.), 1x HDMI video port, 2x on-board ejectable SIM card sockets with an expansion bus for 2x mini-card slots.
The RBOX-1000-M12X is approved for a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C in storage and -40°C to 70°C EN50155 Tx in operation. This makes the railway computer perfectly suited for rolling stock applications, while it also resists strong vibrations and shock (EN50155, EN61373) with certification for EN50155, EN50121-1, and EN50121-3-2. Finally, it has a compact size of 482mm x 300mm x 44mm and weight of 2500g, with 1U 19” rackmount and wireless router to seamlessly fit in and connect with any pre-existing digital management systems.
