Backplane Systems Technology is pleased to present iBase’s RM-QCS610. The RM-QCS610 is an impressive Wide-Temperature SMARC™ 2.1 Module designed for edge AI and machine learning applications that require high performance and flexible I/O interfaces. Powered by a powerful Qualcomm QCS610 SoC, the module delivers visual edge computing to enable devices to collect, process and analyze data at the edge, without relying on cloud connectivity.

The module is equipped with an Adreno 612 GPU 3D graphics accelerator with 64-bit addressing at 845 MHz, which supports 4K video capture and playback at 30fps. It also boasts up to 4GB LPDDR4 and 32GB eMMC, which provides ample storage space for AI algorithms and data processing.

The RM-QCS610 is built to withstand harsh environments and offers a wide range of operating temperatures from -30°C to +85°C, making it ideal for applications in rugged environments. The module has also passed OS validation procedures with Open Linux Embedded 5.414.04 and Android 12 (2023/2, CS), ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The RP-105 carrier board is available for Micro SD, Mini PCI-E, TTL, HDMI, MIPI-DSI, and MIPI-CSI camera expansion, which provides flexibility and scalability for various applications.
